KIMBERLEY ULTRAMARATHON — INSURANCE
POLICIES, AND EX GRATIA PAYMENTS
486. Mrs M.H. ROBERTS to the Minister for Tourism:
I ask a supplementary question. Can the minister give any
indication whatsoever as to when we might expect to know whether the government
will make ex gratia payments to the two girls and the other two injured
competitors who were mentioned in the report?

AnswerView source ↗

I cannot say anything more than the
government has three months from the time of the committee bringing down its
report. That would clearly be the longest possible time. My wish is that it be
sooner.
