I am advised by the Department of Education as follows:
(a)-(b) Funding for the 2012 school year will be in the form of a 0.7 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) teacher, 0.6 FTE Aboriginal and Islander Education Officer and a 0.6 FTE education assistant.
(c) A Kindergarten program of 15 hours will be offered in 2012.
(d) The Aboriginal Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ATAS) is operating in 2012. However, ATAS is available to students in Years 4 to 12.
(e) The Koolbardi Aboriginal Kindergarten provides a Kindergarten program, not Pre?Primary. The Koolbardi Aboriginal Kindergarten will be open for four days per week and will deliver a 15-hour Kindergarten program. Program times will be the same as those offered in 2011. All other Kindergartens in the South West will deliver 15-hour Kindergarten programs in 2012.
(e)(i) Not applicable.
(f)-(f)(ii) Amaroo Primary School leases a bus which is available for use by the Koolbardi Aboriginal Kindergarten. The school administration will make decisions regarding the use of the bus in consultation with the community.
