I refer the minister to the Curriculum Council memorandum to schools dated 24 January 2007. (1) Will the unit grade descriptors for teachers delivering the new courses be provided to schools early in term 2, 2007? (2) If no to (1), why not and when will the unit grade descriptors be delivered to schools? (3) If no to (1), will teachers continue to use the existing course standards? (4) If no to (1), with the further delay with unit course descriptors can the minister guarantee the accuracy of grades provided to students given the difference in procedure in the determination of grades?
