Will there be forced amalgamations in regional areas under
the government that the Leader of the National Party is part of, and will the
changes to the laws to remove whole provisions apply in regional areas or just
in metropolitan areas?

Local Government have already outlined potential changes to legislation—that
is all they are. When those changes come to the Parliament, there will be the
opportunity for them to be debated in full, and the National Party will make
