refer to tabled paper 993, the Department of Justice strategic reform report, Statutory
review of the Coroners Act 1996 (WA): Final report , dated
July 2021, which was tabled on Wednesday, 15 December 2021.
(1) Is the Attorney General aware that the version of
the statutory review that was tabled on 7 December 2021 does not address
the issue of section 22(1), which was subject to the unanimous resolution of
the house on 2 June 2021?
(2) On what date
were changes made to the version of the report tabled on 7 December 2021 that
resulted in the version tabled on 15 December 2021, and who directed that these
changes be made?
(3) How many versions of the report exist?
(4) On what date did the Attorney General
receive each version?
