I refer to the federal government's
$100 billion infrastructure fund for COVID-19 infrastructure stimulus packages
for state governments.
(1) Has the state
government commenced its negotiations with the commonwealth for Western Australia
to receive its fair share of per capita funding from the commonwealth?
(2) When can Western Australian workers expect an
announcement on Western Australia's COVID-19-related shovel-ready projects?

the Minister for Transport.
(1)–(2) The state government has worked cooperatively with
the federal government and has been successful in securing significant
funding contributions towards infrastructure projects. The state government
commenced negotiations with the federal government two months ago to secure its
population share of the COVID-19 stimulus packable available to the states.
