I refer to the minister’s recent press release titled “Hundreds of charges laid during massive burglary operation”. (1) Is it correct that, of the 474 charges laid, only 169 were actually burglary charges? (2) How many persons were charged with those burglary offences? (3) How many of the burglary charges relate to offences committed in the past 12 months? (4) Will the minister undertake to table within the next three sitting days details, such as they are known, of the value of property - (a) claimed to have been stolen; and (b) recovered?
