I refer to the four Authorised Inspection Centres (AIC) to replace the O'Connor Inspection Centre and ask -
(1) How much of the inspection fees paid by users will the operators of the AIC keep, and how much will they pay to the State Government?
(2) What is the total amount the Government expects to receive in payments from these four AIC for the 2011-12 and 2012-13 financial years?
(3) What is the estimated number of vehicles that will be inspected each year at the four new AIC?
(4) Where will people with vehicles that were previously able to be inspected at the O’Connor Centre, but cannot be inspected at the new AIC, be able to get their vehicles inspected?
(5) Have any additional resources been allocated to conduct audits of these AIC?
(6) If yes to (5), how much money and how many new FTE’s have been allocated?
(7) What was the total revenue collected from inspection fees at the former O’Conner Inspection Centre in the 2010-11 financial year?
(8) What was the cost of running the O’Conner Inspection Centre last year?
(9) How much did the O’Connor Inspection Centre contribute to corporate overheads last year?
(10) How many inspections were conducted at the O’Connor Inspection Centre last financial year?
(11) How many of these inspections were for vehicles under 4.5 tonnes?
(12) How many of these inspections were for motorcycles?
