(3) The Samson Brook Dam and new pipehead dam provide water for bulk irrigation supply to Harvey Water and water supply to the Integrated Water Supply Scheme including Waroona town water supply. (4) Yes. (5) Testing for Hydrocarbons occurred in April 1999, December 1999, December 2000, September 2001 and September 2002 with all results below detectable limits. (6) No pollutants have been found. (7 & 8) Yes. The Water Source Protection Plan for the catchment identifies fuel use and storages associated with bauxite mining activities in the catchment as possible sources of pollution. High levels of protection have been established by Alcoa and are monitored by the Corporation.
