representing the Minister for Water:
I ask this question on behalf of Hon
Lynn MacLaren , who is currently on leave from
Parliament.
(1) Is the state government planning
to abolish the Water Corporation sustainability unit?
(2) If yes to (1)

(a) How many
staff members will lose their jobs with the closure of this unit?
(b) When is the
planned last day of operations for the unit?
(c) How will the
Water Corporation continue to undertake water efficiency or sustainability
research programs and initiatives?
(d) Prior to the
decision to abolish this unit, was an evaluation of the program undertaken, and
what key factors supported the abolition of the unit within that evaluation?
