I refer to the Minister’s comments in the House on17 April 2013 that “The then-Labor Government made a couple of serious errors … it failed, primarily, to make sure that the regulated price to retail equalled the cost”, and I ask:
(a) does the price of electricity charged by Synergy in accordance with the A1 as at 1 May 2013 tariff equal the cost of producing electricity;
(b) if no, is it the policy of the Barnett Liberal Government to charge a full cost-reflective tariff for the Synergy A1 tariff;
(c) does the price of electricity charged by Horizon in accordance with the A1 as at 1 May 2013 tariff equal the cost of producing electricity; and
(d) if no, is it the policy of the Barnett Liberal Government to charge a full cost-reflective tariff for the Horizon A1 tariff?
