(2) Under the Soil and Land Conservation Act currently four appeals are before the minister against soil conservation notices that prevent land clearing. (3) The former Minister for Primary Industry referred one of these appeals to the Environmental Protection Authority. The other three appeals are under consideration and no decision has been made on their referral to the Environmental Protection Authority.
