(b) is it not correct that the council was in fact suspended as a result of the inquiry report prepared by Mr Gary Martin, who was appointed under the provisions of the Local Government Act 1995 to conduct such an inquiry; (c) is it not a fact that the suspension of the council was carried out by the then State Liberal Government; and (d) has the Minister’s department at any time received from Mr Randall or the Liberal Party any formal or informal submission that the council’s suspension was based on anything other than the provisions of the Local Government Act 1995 and the findings of the Martin Inquiry?
