CORONAVIRUS — RAPID ANTIGEN TESTS
805. Hon PETER COLLIER to the Leader of the House
representing the Premier:
(1) Does the
Labor government still recommend that people who contract COVID isolate for
five days after receiving a positive rapid antigen test result?
(2) If no to (1), what action should
a person take after they test positive for COVID?
(3) Given that
the RATs provided to members of Parliament expired this week and that the
remaining tests will expire by December 2024, how will members of the public
ascertain whether or not they have contracted COVID?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.
(1)–(3) As with any health condition, individuals should
follow the relevant health advice. Members of the public can continue to
access free rapid antigen tests through the WA free RAT program—which,
I note, the Liberal Party opposes.
