Please provide a breakdown by each Department, Agency and Government Trading Enterprise under the Minister’s control, including the Ministerial office: (a) How many PCs, laptops or tablet devices have been lost or stolen in the calendar year 2024 to date; (b) What was the total value of the devices that were lost or stolen; (c) Did any of these devices contain information that could be regarded as sensitive: (i) If yes, how many such devices contained information that could be regarded as sensitive; and (ii) Please detail the nature of the sensitive information present on each of these lost or stolen devices; (d) What steps have been taken to ensure that any commercial or sensitive information was not compromised; (e) Was the loss or theft of any of these computers reported to the police: (i) If yes, when were these reports made; (ii) Of those reported, what has been the outcome; and (iii) If any were not reported to the police, why not; (f) What steps, if any, have been put into place with a view to eliminating, or at least reducing, these losses; and (g) When were these steps put into place?
