I refer to my recent freedom of information application dated 28 June for the minister’s appointments diary for the days surrounding the leaking of the Lewandowski affidavit, and ask - (1) Specifically, which section of the Freedom of Information Act gave the minister the authority to conceal select appointments that appeared in his ministerial diary during this time, by photocopying over them? (2) In the interests of public accountability, will the minister now agree to hand over a full and unedited copy of his ministerial diary for the period surrounding the leaking of the Lewandowski affidavit? Mr R.C. KUCERA

(1) My recollection is that I simply complied with the request, which was for my ministerial diary, and that the other items in the diary referred to my electorate. (2) If the member would like to put his request on notice, I am more than happy to supply the material.
