(1) How many emergency medicine consultants and registrars will be necessary to maintain 24-hour, seven-day a week emergency and casualty services at each of the following peripheral hospitals: Swan District Hospital, Armadale-Kelmscott Memorial Hospital and Rockingham-Kwinana District Hospital? (2) Have procedures been commenced to recruit those emergency medicine consultants and registrars for each of the three peripheral hospitals? If not, when will they commence? (3) Do the hospitals expect to be able to recruit the required number of emergency medicine consultants and registrars? (4) What is the estimated cost of employing those emergency medicine consultants and registrars at each peripheral hospital? (5) Are those costs provided for in the 2001-02 budget?
