The Western Australian Police Force advised the following:
(a) Total Police Officers (Recruit to Commander) was 6 404.
(b) Total male Police Officers (Recruit to Commander) was 4 917. Total female Police Officers (Recruit to Commander) was 1 487.
(c) Actual Employment Level for Police Officers (Constable to Superintendent), Police Auxiliary Officers and Aboriginal Police Liaison Officers for the month of October 2018 – excluding leave without pay, as per the table below.
