I refer to the number of nurse full time equivalents (FTEs) allocated to South West (SW) Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), noting that at June 2011 two nurse FTEs were allocated, however this was subsequently cut back to one only, and ask —
(1) When did this occur and what was the reason for this cut, especially in light of the workload, wait times and the SW CAMHS business case calling for urgent additional resourcing?
(2) As at 1 September 2012, how many nurse FTEs were allocated to SW CAMHS?

(1) No nursing positions have been cut. There is currently 1 FTE dedicated nurse position in South West Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS). There are a number of generic positions within the CAMHS team that can be filled by a nurse, psychologist, social worker or occupational therapist. This is why the number of specific professions may have seemed to have fluctuated over the past two years.
(2) 1 FTE dedicated nursing position.
