816. Hon SUE ELLERY to the
parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Training and Workforce Development:
I refer to certificate II pre-apprenticeship and other
certificate qualification courses offered under VET in Schools.
(1) What are
the fees charged for these courses?
(2) Does the
government have any plans to increase fees for VET in Schools courses to align
with the fees for the same courses at TAFE colleges?

of the question. I note that this answer was provided on 24 October 2013.
(1) Enrolled
school students doing VET courses that are funded by the Department of Training
and Workforce Development as part of their school program do not pay course
fees.
(2) There is no plan to increase
course fees for these students.
