I refer to question without notice

(1) Has Western Australia
Police Force sought to have Mr Alexander returned to Perth to face justice;
and, if so, when, and by what means?
(2) Has Mr Alexander returned to
Perth; and, if not, why not?
(3) What actions have been taken
against Mr Alexander, and what is their status?

I thank the Leader of the
Opposition for some notice of the question. The following information has been
provided to me by the Minister for Police.
The Western Australia Police Force advises
as follows.
(1)–(3) This
matter is currently under investigation by the WA Police Force. The WA Police
Force has not sought to have Mr Alexander return to Perth at this stage. Mr
Alexander has returned to Perth during the course of this investigation.
