I refer to the conclusion by Supreme Court Justice Tottle in Town of Cambridge v The Hon David Templeman that the “immediate suspension of the Council is so disproportionate to the limited nature of the Council’s suspected failure that it is not a form of intervention that a Minister acting reasonably would order,” and I ask: (a) What steps has the Minister taken to ensure that all future actions taken with regard to the Town of Cambridge will be both reasonable and proportionate?
