I refer to the operations of the Public Sector Commission (PSC) and the handling of complaints from members of the public, and I ask: (a) has the PSC received any complaints in the past 12 months that included allegations about the conduct of PSC staff or contractors, including interactions at the point of lodgement; (b) if yes to (a), how are such matters independently reviewed; and (c) what is the PSC’s policy for escalating serious or sensitive allegations that may require external or independent investigation?

b) Allegations about Public Sector Commission staff or contract personnel are assessed as to whether they involve a breach of discipline. Independent review of disciplinary action is available through the Western Australian Industrial Relations Commission.
