(3) Numbers of doctors educated overseas that were employed in the public health system.
Intern data
; in 2013, WA Public hospitals employed four graduates from international medical schools (two to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and two to Royal Perth Hospital). There is no data on graduates from previous years.
Data on other doctors in WA Hospitals is not stored on WA Health's corporate HR data warehouse and is therefore unavailable.
(4) It is not possible to provide this data. To date, the Department of Health has not tracked the employment of individual doctors. For the first time in 2013, graduates of all Medical Schools across Australia have been provided with a unique number; which will enable tracking.
