The Public Sector Commission advises:
a) Twenty-four (24) SES officers were transferred to the ‘performance of other functions
in the SES’ thereby becoming the administrative responsibility of the Public Sector
Commission.

d) Twenty-Three (23) CEOs who were transferred to ‘the performance of other functions in the Senior Executive Service’ pursuant to section 50(1)(a)(ii) of the Public Sector Management Act1994 with effect from 1 July 2017 as a consequence of Machinery of Government (MOG) changes, while a recruitment process was undertaken for the new departments and one (1) as a result of concerns about the department’s organisational culture. The Government announced the new Directors General appointments on the 30 August.
