708. Ms MacTIERNAN to the Minister representing the Minister for Transport:
I refer to the recently installed traffic lights in the Mandurah/Rockingham area along the main Perth/Bunbury route and ask -
(a) why have pre-warning amber lights been installed on the road travelling north and not on the road travelling south;
(b) is the Minister aware of the difficulty in braking this lack of pre-warning lights causes for truck drivers; and
(c) is the Minister prepared to review the red light fines incurred by truck drivers being forced to run the amber light due to lack of pre-warning signs?
