I refer the Minister to the recent announcement that the Queensland Government will offer 2,000 additional free Diploma of Nursing training places from 2026, and I ask: (a) how many places are currently available for diploma level nursing courses here in Western Australia; (b) what is the average cost of a Western Australian-based nursing course for enrolled students; (c) are there any plans to increase the provision of course places; and (d) if yes to (c), can the Minister share any details?
