(1) Has the State Government received advice from the Insurance Commission of Western Australia (Riskcover) in relation to the Aboriginal Areas Protection Authority and the Aboriginal Lands Trust discharging their statutory obligations with regard to the risks for indigenous residents and others living on, or visiting, these lands and reserves; and
(a) does the advice indicate a risk rating got these government agencies and instrumentalities of 25/25;
(b) if so, when was this advice received; and
(c) what steps are being taken in response to this advice?

1) Yes, in relation to the Balgo Community.
(a) Yes.
(b) 27 January 2004.
(c) The Aboriginal Affairs Planning Authority (AAPA) and Aboriginal Lands Trust (ALT), through the Department of Indigenous Affairs (DIA), has public liability insurance. DIA manages ALT and AAPA lands in compliance with statutory obligations.
