MALLARD AND BEAMISH CASES - LEGAL FEES
I refer the Attorney General to the appeals by Mr Mallard and Mr Beamish. (1) Will the Attorney General table the letter from Clayton Utz to the government dated 8 July 2005; and, if not, why not? (2) Did the government verify by any means Clayton Utz’s cost estimates for the Mallard appeal following the High Court case; and, if not, why not? (3) Will the Attorney General table the funding request from Dawson Davies and the government’s response concerning the appeal by Darryl Beamish; and, if not, why not? (4) Does the Attorney General have details about all individuals who received payment from the government’s funding to Clayton Utz and Dawson Davies? Hon SUE ELLERY
