ABORIGINAL CULTURAL HERITAGE ACT — PREMIER'S
COMMENTS
480. Mr R.S. LOVE to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question. Did
the Premier receive the legal advice prior to his change of heart or subsequent
to it?

AnswerView source ↗

There was no change of heart; there
was careful listening to concerns, and acting on those concerns. A range of
information and advice was provided to me throughout that process, and they all
informed the view that I then took: that these laws were not going to work.
Therefore, I took the decisions that I did.
