AnswerView source ↗

I thank the honourable member for some notice of the
question.
(1) Mining lease 47/1487 was withdrawn on 4 September 2013.
(2) The
applicant lodged a completed form 22 for withdrawal after being informed by the
Department of Mines and Petroleum that the mining lease application was
inadequate, as the mineralisation report accompanying the application failed to
confirm significant mineralisation pursuant to the Mining Act 1978.
(3) The applications are pending.
(4) No, as the determination does
not rest with me as minister.
(5) Not applicable.
(6) The applications are required to
be determined by the Mining Warden.
