I refer to the State Government review of the eligibility criteria of the Cost of Living Assistance (CoLA) payment, that resulted in the payment being renamed the Energy Assistance Payment (EAP), and I ask: (a) how many Western Australians were eligible for the CoLA payment as at 1 May 2015; (b) as at 1 September 2015, how many Western Australians had registered for the EAP; (c) what was the anticipated number of Western Australians eligible for the EAP at 1 September 2015; and (d) will the State Government retrospectively apply the EAP discount to future customer accounts who have not registered but who are eligible for the discount?
