The following estimate is provided, based on a percentage allocation of all passengers engaged in journey to work trips on the Kwinana Freeway or the Southern Suburbs Railway between the designated locations and Perth, as they are the majority of the trips to and from the Perth CBD and take place at the time of greatest road congestion. Only trips beginning at Perth and ending at the designated location (or vice versa) are taken into account for each allocation.
