I am advised:
(a) 137.
(b) $595,813 exclusive of GST.
(c) No.
(c)(i)-(ii) Not applicable.
(c)(iii) WA Country Health Service (WACHS) is currently undertaking a review of existing surgical activity, focusing on reducing waitlists and maximising theatre utilisation. This review will take approximately 6 months to be completed.
(d) Children of Health Care or Pensioner Concession card holders who require paediatric dental surgery under general anaesthetic continue to be able to access subsidised treatment at the Oral Health Centre of Western Australia (OHCWA) located in Perth. If they live in regional and remote areas, they are able to apply to the Patient Assisted Transport Scheme (PATS) to access this care in metropolitan Perth. There are no plans to change this policy.
