Roebourne heavy vehicle deviation route
452. Hon Julie Freeman to
the parliamentary secretary representing the
Minister for Transport:
I refer to the
Roebourne Heavy Vehicle Deviation Route (HVDR) and note that community
consultation was undertaken in March 2023 and design works have been completed,
and no funding has been allocated in the 2026–27 state budget.
(1) Has the state government secured the
necessary approvals to enable the Roebourne HVDR to progress, subject to
funding?
(2) Has the state government sought
co-funding from the federal government for the project?
(3) If yes to (2), what was the outcome
of that request?
(4) If no to (2), why not?
