Minister for Education:
I refer to ongoing
restrictions to a shared oval placed on the parents and caregivers of children
attending Doubleview Primary School.
(1) Under whose lawful authority has it
been directed that community access be restricted during school pickup times?
(2) What agreement or agreements are in
place between the Doubleview Primary School and the International School of
Western Australia that might have given rise to the direction being issued?
(3) Please table the agreement or
agreements.
(4) How frequently did the parties meet
to discuss and resolve competing needs and what is the Department of Education's
role in coordinating these discussions?

behalf of the Minister for Education.
(1) It is that of the principal of
Doubleview Primary School.
(2)–(4) A commercial-in-confidence lease
agreement between the International School of WA and the Department of
Education outlines arrangements for use of common areas. Leadership teams of
both sides meet once a term to discuss matters pertaining to the lease
agreement, including the use of the school oval during school hours.
