I refer to the Water Corporation, and ask: (a) What changes have there been in total wages costs, contractor costs and consultant costs for each year from 2016 to 2019; (b) What has been the increase in average wages cost per person (non-staff), including overtime payments and other allowances, for each year from 2016 to 2019; (c) What has been the average annual overtime paid to non-staff employees for each year from 2016 to 2019; (d) What has been the average annual overtime paid to employees who are union representatives for each year from 2016 to 2019; and (e) What are the number of staff positions at Level 9 and above for each year from 2016 to 2019?

(a) – (c) The Water Corporation is unable to answer these questions without further clarity on what the member is referring to when he asks for information on ‘wages costs’, ‘contractors costs’, ‘consultant costs’ and ‘wages cost per person (non-staff)’, as has previously been discussed with the member’s office.
(d) Water Corporation is not obliged to hold records of employees holding union membership.
