I refer to question on notice No. 3458, asked on 20 October 2015, and question without notice No. 1446, asked on 1 December 2015, and I ask, why is there a discrepancy between the figures atrributed to the Tariff Adjustment Payment in these two documents: (a) which figure is correct; and (b) if neither figure is correct, what is the correct figure?

The Tariff Adjustment Payment figure for Synergy provided in the first response (3458) is the estimated actual value of the payment as published in the 2015-16 State Budget.
The Tariff Adjustment Payment figure for Synergy in the second response (1446) is the final value of the payment received by Synergy in the 2014-15 financial year as reported in Synergy’s 2014-15 Annual Report.
(a) The actual figure for 2014-15 is $386 million.
(b) Not applicable.
