Previous modelling of the Wellington Dam only provided an assessment of the impact of reservoir abstractions on the volume and salinity of water stored in the reservoir. However, due to a need to provide an assessment of flows required to meet environmental water provisions to the river downstream of Wellington Dam, the model has now been upgraded to incorporate these variable demands.
