representing the Minister for Mines and Petroleum:
I refer to provisions in the budget
for the mining rehabilitation fund shown on page 894 of budget paper No 2.
(1) What
tendering process is the state government carrying out to source contractors
for stage 3 of the Black Diamond pit lake project?
(2) Is this a private tendering
process, and which companies have been invited to tender for the project?
(3) Have any
contractors with a head office within the Collie shire been offered an
opportunity to tender for the project; and, if not, why not?

open and effective competition policy.

instance, being Ngalang Boodja Earthmoving Pty Ltd; B and J Catalano; Carey
Group; Soilwater Group; and Downer EDI Mining Pty Ltd.
(3) Yes.
