SCHOOLS — PRIMED
PROJECT
262. Hon DONNA FARAGHER to the Leader of the House
representing the Minister for Education:
My question without notice of which
some notice has been given was to the Minister for Agriculture and Food, but I think
it has been transferred to the Leader of the House representing the Minister for
Education.
I
refer to the PRIMED project announced by the government in 2019 to provide
students with a better understanding of primary industries.
(1) How many schools have
participated in the project to date?
(2) Will the
minister provide a list of these schools, including the year or years they took
part in the project?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following answer is provided on behalf of the
Minister for Education, and I provide it on behalf of the Leader of the House.
(1) In Western Australia,
108 public schools have accessed PRIMED project professional learning through
the Department of Education.
(2) I table a list
of Western Australian public schools that have accessed PRIMED project
professional learning through the Department of Education.
