I refer to Budget Paper No. 2, Volume 1 at page 399, "Services and Key Efficiency Indicators", line item Drug and Alcohol Services, and ask: (a) of the 199 employees, how many are based in the South West electoral district and where are they based; (b) of the total 2014-15 State Budget for Drug and Alcohol Services, how much is allocated to the South West electoral district; (c) for each of 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14, of the total State Budget for Drug and Alcohol Services, how much was allocated to the South West electoral district; (d) are any drug and alcohol services purchased from non-government agencies in the South West electoral district; and (e) if yes to (d), what are those agencies, and how much government funding did each agency receive in each of 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14?

(a) Nil.  The Drug and Alcohol Office (DAO) only has employees based in the Perth Metropolitan Area.  Services are purchased by DAO that operate in all regions including the South West.
(b) $1,192,207.
(c) 2011‑12 = $962,765; 2012‑13 = $ 975,321; 2013‑14 = $1,098,074.
(d) Yes.
(e) St John of God Health Care, operating the South West Community Drug Service Team, was the only agency to receive funding, and received the amounts listed in the response to c).
