With reference to the 2022-23 and 2023-24 Regional Events Program (REP), please provide details of funding recipients, events, and amounts. : (a) How often is the REP open for applications, (how many funding rounds), and what is the process for applying; (b) How much is the fund over-subscribed for each of the financial years outlined above; and (c) With specific reference to funding for the International Women’s World Hot Air Ballooning Championships, what other sources of support can be offered to ensure the event is a success?

(a) REP funding is not issued in ‘rounds’ –event holders can apply for funding at any time of the year.
(b) Not applicable.
(c) The other Tourism WA funding sources are the Regional Events Scheme for smaller events and the Major Events for larger events. However, as International Women’s World Hot Air Ballooning Championships has secured REP funding, it would not be considered for additional funding from these sources.
