Further to the answer to question number 1418 on 22 August 2006, regarding the Government’s negotiations to re-lease Galliers Private Hospital, I ask -
(1) Has a decision been made to re-lease Galliers Private Hospital and Medical Centre to a private operator?
(2) If yes to (1), please give details of the private operator and the nature of the lease negotiated?
(3) If no to (1), is the matter still under consideration by the Department of Health?
(4) If yes to (3), how long has the Department of Health been considering options to re-lease the hospital to a private operator?
(5) If yes to (3), how much longer does the Government anticipate it will take to make a decision about re-leasing Galliers Hospital to a private operator?
