In relation to the new five-year agreement between Eventscorp and the Art Gallery of Western Australia to help to bring a series of annual international art exhibitions to Perth, I ask:
(a)
what is the financial and in-kind input from Eventscorp for the first exhibition of the ‘Great Collections of the World’ series, ‘Peggy Guggenheim: A Collection in Venice’; and
(b)
what is the financial agreement and timeline between Eventscorp and the Art Gallery for the remaining exhibitions?

(a) & (b) Information relating to funding and in-kind support to bring a series of annual international art exhibitions to Perth is commercial-in-confidence. Tourism Western Australia is also contractually barred from disclosing such details.
Furthermore, the release of such information would provide rival host cities with an unfair advantage over Perth and would have an adverse effect on Eventscorp's business, commercial and financial affairs, and possibly those of associated third parties. As a matter of procedural fairness to all parties concerned, it would be necessary for this information to be requested through the Freedom of Information process. This is consistent with advice provided by the State Solicitor's Office on this matter.
