While the Council and the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) are making good progress, this process has not been finalised. These policies will set management objectives for Cockburn Sound however, the licensing of industries is a separate process clearly set out in the Environmental Protection Act 1986 . Each licence will be assessed on its merits as it comes up for review and managed consistent with the EPP once it has been gazetted. (2) answered by (1).
