The Department of Fire and Emergency Services advises:
(1) 2013/2014 - 43 redundancies.
The majority of these severances were provided on the basis of the broader organisational reform program to support renewal of the workforce to meet the changing skill set needs of the department.
2014/2015 - 0 redundancies.
As the Government has not announced a voluntary severance scheme for 2014/15, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services has not offered any redundancies for staff.
(2) 2013/2014 - $7,347,572.82
2014/2015 - Not applicable.
