parliamentary secretary representing the Minister for Housing:
I refer the minister to the public
housing properties in the north East Metropolitan Region.
(1) How many houses by suburb are
currently vacant?
(2) Of those that are currently
vacant, how many are vacant for the following reasons —
( a)
under maintenance;
(b) extensive maintenance required;
(c) awaiting occupation;
(d) awaiting demolition;
(e) pending sale;
(f) refurbishment; and
(g) redevelopment?

of the question.
(1) As at 31 July
2016, of the more than 11 000 properties in the North Metropolitan Region, 340 properties
are vacant.
(2) (a)–(g)
I table the requested information. There are a further 29 vacant properties not
represented in the listed categories.
