The Minister for Police and Emergency Services has provided the following response - (1)-(2) The Western Australia Police Service advises that in the three years from March 2001 to April 2004, 16 police stations have been built, planned for or are near completion at Albany, Balgo, Bidyadanga, Bunbury, Busselton, Clarkson, Dampier Peninsula, Jigalong, Kalumburu, Kensington, Kiara, Laverton, Newman, Wanneroo, Warburton and Warmun. (3)-(4) The Police Service advises that in nearly eight years from March 1993 to December 2003, 29 police stations were built, planned for or near completion at Australind, Bayswater, Belmont, Bunbury, Busselton, Cannington, Carnamah, Clarkson, Dunsborough, Forrestfield, Geraldton, Gosnells, Halls Creek, Hillarys, Kellerberrin, Kensington, Kiara, Kununurra, Kwinana, Leeman, Meekatharra, Mirrabooka, Morley, Murdoch, Nullagine, Scarborough, Roebourne, Rockingham and Wiluna.
