GOLD CORPORATION — INSURANCE COVER
250. Mr R.S. LOVE to the Minister for Mines and Petroleum:
I refer to ongoing revelations
regarding the Perth Mint and answers to question on notice 652 regarding Gold Corporation
insurance cover.
(1) Does the
current Gold Corporation insurance cover commercial risks; and, if so, could it
cover business losses which may be incurred if Gold Corporation falls off the
LBMA good delivery list?
(2) Does it cover penalties that could be demanded by
the Australian Transaction Reports and Analysis Centre?

Obviously, I do not have that detail
in front of me, as the Leader of the Opposition would not expect me to. I note
that he has asked an almost identical question on notice, and I suppose the
Leader of the Opposition could wait until the question on notice is answered.
